The CEO Climate Dialogue (CCD) released the following statement in response to U.S. Treasury Secretary Nominee Janet Yellen’s Confirmation Hearing: 

 

“As the new year begins, we welcome renewed momentum for action on climate policy and appreciate U.S. Treasury Secretary Nominee Janet Yellen’s commitment to prioritize the issue, including the creation of a departmental ‘hub’ to focus on financial risks and tax policies. The CCD stands ready to work with U.S. Treasury Secretary Nominee Janet Yellen, Congress, and the new administration to advance climate policy that is market-based, durable, and promotes equity for all Americans, while reducing emissions and supporting the competitiveness of the U.S. economy. 

  

We look forward to working with all stakeholders in the coming months to ensure action is taken to enact climate change solutions.”
